Can you kill both Shadow Prince and Mother Tree? ›

You will have 2 options. You can follow Saheila's advice and kill the Mother Tree, or you can ignore her and kill the Shadow Prince (or both, if you prefer; see note below on how to optimize the experience granted).

She will briefly appear in Act 3 outside the mother tree entrance if Sebille is in the party. Later she can be found in Act 4 in Arx near the Cathedral of Lucian, but she holds no quests there.

You can find every quest in the game on this page. First off, Google is a thing use it. Second, you have to go to the Archives, and read the Archivist's Journal, which will tell you the name of the Tree/Elf, then you have to cast Spirit Vision and talk to the tree and say her name.

The vines should be just south and slightly west of where the Elven High Priestess is standing (don't recall if she moves around), with the base at about x:293 y:943. That is the platform you need to get to; the entrance to the heart of the tree is south of where you can climb up.

If players have her on their team (or even play as her), they know that the Shadow Prince is an undeniable villain with no moral obligations. However, players can choose to work with him and agree to kill the Mother Tree, a sort of a saint ruler of the Elven kind, and end its tyranny.

If you decide to kill her, she will attack you. She is worth 149,850XP (74,925 XP DE Edition), and the quest is complete when she dies. If you choose not to kill her, she will leave and you will earn a choice of Legendary-quality loot as a reward. You will not earn any XP though, but the quest is complete all the same.

As a reward, Saheila will teach you how to master the Source (increase your maximum Source Points by one) at the camp, or the Far Sight skillbook if you already have a capacity of 3 source points.

The Grieving Orc is triggered when you speak to the orc in question. He is sobbing on the beaches just past the west gate from Cyseal Harbor.

You can find her at the Sawmill, it's a Lone Wolf camp that's North-East of the Driftwood Fields waypoint. Kill everyone there to and you will find Saheila on the second floor of the East building. Get her to the elven camp, then return there and speak with her to finish the quest.

This is not a complaint just an observation: plants don't grow back after you harvest them but for some reason stones do.

Treatment. The only way to remove the Charmed effect is by either by having immunity to its influence, keeping Magic armour above 0 or use Mind affecting spells and items that will cancel charmed status effect.

If by massively changing the end of the game, then not exactly, the overall narrative follow the same general path though it changes as well. But all your choices effect the outcomes of quests you do.

If the option to renounce the character's (who interacted with the altar) god is chosen, the option to have your god intervene at the other altars will no longer be present (but only with that character, not with the whole party). There may also be more effects.

One has the option of handing her the Swornbreaker to release her obligation. The Red Prince can fully consummate and spawn a hatchling, actually kill Sadha, or both. If the Shadow Prince survived, he will appear and react based on the deal.

If you decide to kill the Devourer, you'll be able to upgrade the armor without the caveat of the item being permanently equipped to your character, and the Devourer itself does drop some loot. The fight itself is quite tough, but there's a way you can trivialize it.
